Story
Founded in 2013 in Los Angeles, the Atelier studio was the natural development of Nadine's extensive experience in water gilding and decorative arts.
After being introduced to George Massar, CEO and Creative Director of Gregorius|Pineo, a collaborative and exclusive collection of handcrafted wall coverings was launched titled "Handcrafted by Atelier."
With the use of unique plaster, organic textures, silk screening and gilding techniques, Strata, Porcelain, Alchemy, Rake, Glint, and Tribal, became the foundation of the new the collection; since Atelier's inception, many techniques and styles have been added.
Nadine was raised in London, England Nadine was trained by the renowned decorative artist Leonard Pardon. She came to the US at the age of 21 and joined the Robert Walker Studio in Los Angeles, CA , specializing in gilding, wood graining, marbleizing and Venetian plaster techniques. She went on to work on large scale installations with Robert in Las Vegas including The Venetian, Bellagio, Caesar Palace, MGM, and The Luxor, ; her work can also be seen at the Venus Fort in Tokyo.
A distinctive voice in the decorative arts and design field for 27 years, in August of 2017 Nadine moved her family, warehouse and studio artists, to Cornelius, OR growing her work space surrounded by the area's farmlands, barns and wineries.
She continues challenging herself to push the limits on what is possible, bringing an organic creativity and timeless beauty to her handcrafted world.
